Testing

My summer standardized test scores just came out. After taking the SAT twice, the ACT twice, and three subject tests, here are my results:
SAT:
Jan. CR: 670 M: 710 W: 660
March: CR: 710 M: 680 W: 720
ACT:
Feb. Overall: 31
English: 30 Math: 30 Reading: 35 Science: 28
Jun. Overall: 33
English: 34 Math: 30 Reading:35 Science: 33
Subject Tests:
Chemistry: 750
Math 2: 670
Spanish: 660

I am just so glad that the only other standardized test I need to take in the fall is a retake of the math 2 subject test. I need to be in the seven hundred's so that I am more competitive for my top schools. I was considering taking another ACT or SAT, but my college counselor says that I don't need to take another one after my ACT score of 33!!! Now I'm just waiting for my AP Chemistry and US Government & Politics scores. I should get those sometime next month.

Speaking of colleges, I did not get to see Presbyterian on Thursday. My mother decided on Wednesday night that she did not want to drive that far. So, I made her call Presbyterian and cancel. There was no way I was going to get stuck with doing that!

Summer!

Sooo...life has been great!!! I am finally done with taking standardized tests until the fall! I went to my school's honors banquet and got Gold Eagle, a UGA certificate of merit, AND the Dartmouth Book Award. Even though I don't want to go to Dartmouth (too cold), it was nice to be recognized. It was like that time when I got a letter from MIT in the mail without signing up for their mailing list. Didn't want to go there, but it was nice to get the letter. Well, I am going to look at Presbyterian on Thursday. It's in South Carolina, so it should be a relatively short drive (THANK GOD!!!!). After my five day college road trip with my mom over spring break, four-five hours in the car (round trip) won't be as terrible. I'll keep you posted on Presbyterian.
On another note, I am leaving for England in a month!!! I'm so excited to be participating in the Cambridge College Programme this summer. Three weeks in England!!! It's going to be my first time in Europe!
