Rhodes

So yesterday I did a phone interview with my admissions counselor at Rhodes College. She was very nice, and I loved what she told me about Rhodes. This phone interview was especially great because my mother has decided that we are not going to go look at any more colleges until the spring--after my acceptances roll in. But the conversation I had with my admissions counselor was so casual and easy. When I first heard the term "phone interview," it kind of freaked me out. What is a phone interview and can it impact my admissions decision? Questions like these kept running through my mind. But then I forgot about it until my phone rang at 4:30. It wasn't my admissions counselor, but it reminded me into getting freaked out about the interview. But after talking with my admissions counselor, I don't really have more doubts about getting into Rhodes even though I haven't seen the campus. She seemed really impressed when I told her what my scores were on my SAT and ACT. So, hopefully I won't have any problems getting in there.

And speaking of testing, I caved and decided to call College Board to get my AP scores. It cost me eight dollars, but it was so worth it once I found out from a computer that I got 5's on both my AP Government and AP Chemistry exams. I was so excited and pleased that I had done so well.

Oh, and Hendrix is no longer on my list. I decided that Arkansas was just too far away, so I now have room on my list to add a Georgia college, so I've decided to add Emory to my list.
