Sooo....this is my first post on this blog...I decided to share about my college applications experience. I've seen so many schools but have definitely decided that I want a smaller school (between 1200 and 4000 students) with not many graduate students somewhere in the southeast where it isn't cold all the time. Those are pretty hard qualifications, especially when I want a school with a good academic reputation, having gone to a prestigious private school in Atlanta for the past twelve years.
I've seen Davidson, UGA, Furman, Emory, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Elon, Salem, Centre, Sewanee, Washington and Lee, Wofford, Birmingham-Southern, and Samford. Out of all of these, I've made a short list. Davidson, Furman, Centre, Birmingham Southern, Presbyterian, Rhodes, Hendrix, and University of Richmond are on that list. Tomorrow, I am going to look at University of Richmond. If I like it, it will definitely be a reach school for me. I'll update on how I like it and post more about why I did or didn't like some of these other colleges...
